Happy New Year! I hope you enjoyed the holidays! In lieu of the traditional new year’s greetings and wishes for 2026 I reaffirm and remind you that you are a divine being, a being of love, a powerful being and you create your reality!
Let’s start with a recap of the end of 2025 and the start of 2026, because energetically it was more than the natural end and beginning of the calendar year. Numerology and astrology had something to say about it too!
In numerology, 2025 was a 9 universal year and 2026 is a 1 year (add the digits in a year together to get the number > 2+0+2+5 = 9; 2+0+2+6 = 10, 1+0 = 1). Universal year numbers express the energy and themes we experience globally, as a collective. 9 indicates the completion of a cycle and 1 indicates the beginning of a cycle.
In astrology, a UK astrologer I’ve been following has been talking about a number of planetary and celestial cycles coming to an end around the end of 2025, some many years in the making. Of course, endings also mean new beginnings and the charts are pointing to that new energy for 2026!
What does that all mean? The end of 2025 and start of 2026 had more energy behind them with the number of cycles ending and starting. Which dovetails right into the ascension that we and the planet are undergoing right now. We’re continuing to move out of fear and more into love. We’re becoming more aware, evolving into higher vibrations and consciousness. I’ve been feeling this ascension since COVID, when I started getting visions of things cracking open, things that aren’t working for us like systems, beliefs and ways of life. And as they crack open and fall away/apart, it clears the way for new systems, beliefs and ways of life that are love-based, sustainable and equitable.
Given what has happened in our country and the world since January 1, it may not seem like we’re ascending. Hang in there, it is happening. Part of the ascension process is moving out of fear-based living into love-based living. We’ve been witnessing and experiencing a split between those who choose to focus on love and those who choose fear. That split will continue, becoming wider and more apparent. I’ve heard messages from a number of people who channel Spirit that everyone will not ascend at the same time, it will be in waves. That means there will be people who seem to be digging their heels into fear as the rest of us ascend.
Spirit has shown me that even those who are digging in their heels are helping with the ascension (usually without even consciously knowing it)! And as hard as it is to witness, the words and actions of those focused on fear are waking people up at an accelerated pace. We’re seeing some people being shocked awake by the cruelty and indifference, realizing that isn’t what they signed up for. We’re seeing more people focusing on and spreading love. We’re seeing more people who are showing up for and helping others in so many different ways. Which then inspires more people to do the same.
This split between love and fear feels like it will get rockier and louder before it gets better. But I’ve had some visions and messages from Spirit that I’d like to share that can help us all navigate the ascension and see it from a higher perspective.
Let’s start with the 2 very clear visions I received from Spirit at the end of last year. The first is about sovereignty. They showed me people turning away from outside sources for validation and answers, specifically celebrities, politicians, influencers and social media. Instead, more people will be turning within, realizing the answers for them are already within them. As people do this, they are no longer under the influence and/or power of another, they are standing in their own power and truth.
The second vision was of the planet and people around the world standing up en mass against rulers and people in power who abuse that power for their own benefit over the good of all. A group of people in a country or part of the world stood up, which then inspired people around the globe to also stand up, replacing abusive governments with equitable ones. It wasn’t violent either. It was through sheer force of numbers. People were finally understanding they are worthy of and deserve to have a fair shot at a fulfilling and happy life and had the courage to stand up for that.
Now the messages. The first one is to pay attention to the energy. The energy of people, situations, words and actions; energy on and coming into the planet. It’s not that you have to be aware of all the energy all the time, that would be overwhelming. Pay attention to how the energy feels as you interact with others, listen to a person talking, read something, think about a situation, etc. It will either feel good to you/resonate with you or feel off/not resonate with you. Because energy doesn’t lie. It will tell you if a person, words and actions are focused in love or fear. From there, you can decide if you want to give it your attention or not. Tuning into the energy will help you move through info, interactions and situations like a hot spiritual knife through third dimensional butter!
Intuition, it’s your divine GPS. It’s like a muscle, the more you use it, the stronger it gets. Your intuition will guide you through everything and anything in the best way for you (see the sovereignty in it too?). It will help you navigate through fear, lies and disinformation. It keeps you safe. It helps you stay focused on love and not get distracted by or pulled into someone else’s fear(s). Give yourself permission to hear it, honor it and follow it. It will serve you well as we go through the ascension.
And the last message is to ground yourself in love as much as possible. Surround yourself with people who are also focused on love. Get out of or shift situations and relationships that drain you. Establish healthy boundaries. Do things that bring you joy, fulfill you and raise your vibration. Leverage the power of your thoughts by thinking about things that feel good to you or that you want to happen rather than the opposite. And whatever you are thinking of doing or trying to do, ground yourself in love and do it!
In case you’re interested, the astrologer I started following last year is Pam Gregory. She puts out videos on YouTube on a regular basis and does a great job explaining the charts and their energetic influence. She also has interesting guests on who practice different modalities and are also getting messages and info about the ascension. What’s been interesting to me is Pam often talks about things from an astrological view that I have also been picking up on. Astrology is an area I haven’t delved into deeply in the past. But because everything is energy, I’m realizing the energy coming into the planet from the universe has an influence on us. Pam’s info helps me work and flow with that energy.
So as we continue through the ascension, keep focusing on love. We are like puzzle pieces, each a unique piece with our personalities, perspectives, strengths and how we show up in the world. All those unique pieces come together to form the puzzle. By staying focused on love, we create a puzzle whose picture is one of love, compassion, respect and equity. Here’s to a year where we complete more of that puzzle!
