Send One Your Love

Send One Your LoveThis is a great technique that Spirit taught me recently. You can use it any time, but it’s really helpful when you are going through a difficult or challenging time with someone!

Say  (person’s name)   , I love you and you are loved”, then send a blast of unconditional love from your heart to their heart.

It’s all about intention, so you can say it, visualize it, think it, feel it or any combination of those, whatever works for you, just go with it!

I began doing this technique as a way to stop Stinkin’ Thinkin’ as I went through a challenging time with someone I care about. You know how it is, you start thinking about something they said or did, then how you felt (hurt, angry, sad or something along those lines) and it seems to gain momentum from there until you end up having a poopy day or are in a poopy mood (yes, I said poopy!). Well, that’s where I was at first, but after a while I got tired of it. I didn’t want to keep feeling that way and it didn’t feel right having these kinds of thoughts about someone I care for. So I asked Spirit for help and lo and behold this technique pops into my head soon after! I did it every time I caught myself getting into Stinkin’ Thinkin’ or if I found myself in a space of fear about the situation with this person. I have to confess to two things when I first started this technique: 1. I did it a lot every day and 2. I had a hard time feeling unconditional love for the person. Gradually though it started working because I shifted from Stinkin’ Thinkin’ quicker, had less Stinkin’ Thinkin’, my days improved and so did my mood! I also worked on forgiving, letting go and healing anything that got in the way of me having unconditional love in my heart for the person. As I continued the technique, I found that thinking of a fun or good memory with the person helped open up my heart and I was able to eventually send unconditional love! I still do the technique every day and now have fun with it. Sometimes I make it into a song, dance while doing it or whatever fun idea pops into my head!

The cool thing about this technique is how it works on so many levels. It helped me:

  • stop the Stinkin’ Thinkin’ by shifting my focus to a higher vibration
  • soften my heart towards this person
  • get into a space of love and stay in that space for longer periods of time
  • stay centered and hear guidance from Spirit more clearly

Last but not least, this technique is great because it also benefits the other person. Whether they are aware of it or not, you are surrounding them with and sending them love. On some level they will feel it. That makes me feel happy because if you truly care about someone, don’t you want them to feel loved, even during difficult times? It’s kind of like an energetic warm fuzzy for the highest good of both of you!
